John is leads a team of marketing, product marketing, and eCommerce professionals, developing strategies and techniques to reach and persuade the widest possible audience of B2B customers and stimulating them to convert through Samsung’s many sales channels.  This integrated team combines powerful customer insights with relevant product solutions to build engaging and efficient demand-generation and sales enabling brand experiences.

Before joining Samsung, John was Chief Marketing Officer for online grocery innovator FreshDirect.com as well a strategic consultant for numerous B2B and B2C companies including FTD Companies, J&J, Verizon Wireless, WestwoodOne, Hyperion/Oracle, and others.   Responsibilities included marketing insights, marketing operations, P&L management, sales forecasting and delivery, eCommerce technologies, sales enablement, brand go-to-market processes, talent development and agency management.

John’s uniquely holistic customer marketing background also includes deep experience developing strategies for content and media investment as the agency leader for American Express at WPP agency Mindshare and for P&G at Dentsu media agency Carat.

Prior to his media roles John worked as a brand strategy, digital, and marketing communications expert within global advertising and digital agencies in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Shanghai.
